About Us

I'm Peter VK2KFP, and my colleague is Richard VK2VD.

Sydney Australia is our home and we've both been playing with radios since the 1980s.

VHF & UHF is our comfort zone.

Here in Australia getting on 23cm is not easy - there is not much affordable commercial gear, and what is available is expensive.
That was unitil we stumbled on PE1JPD's FM transceiver project.

Richard refreshed the design, addressed obelete components and updated the PCB design.

We also searched the internet to source components at reasonable price.

A couple of boards were built - word got out - and now we are shipping kits around the globe.

We are not running a commercial business  - just interested in sharing knowledge & components.
